Parker Jay - 2 years old

Where do I begin? Parker has grown into an intelligent, caring, happy, athletic, and funny little boy. There isn't a day that he doesn't surprise us with something new that he has learned or can say. Parker counts to eleven, says his ABC's, sings Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Ring Around the Rosie, All Aboard the Choo Choo Train, Row, Row, Row Your Boat, and the Happy Birthday song. Parker knows many of his letters and the sounds that they make. He can tell you all of the Sesame Street characters and the first letter of each of their names. He knows many colors and many shapes, including an octagon. He still loves books and will now read parts of some pages because he has them memorized or he will read to baby sissy in mommy's belly by telling what he sees on the page. Park speaks in complete sentences sometimes and will let you know if you say something incorrectly.....he tells mommy all the time:) and usually he is right!

There is no doubt that Parker will be the best big brother. If he continues to be one of the biggest of his little friends.....watch out Ava....she may never have a boyfriend!! Parker is all boy and can be rough, but he is a caring little boy. He likes to help others, give us kisses on our boo-boos, cuddle, rub on my belly and give his baby sissy kisses. Parker understands that Ava is coming into the world soon. He can explain that the doctors are doing to take her out. When I told him that mommy and daddy would have to stay at the doctor for a few days so mamma and aunt nin would be here with him....he waved at me and said "bye, bye mommy."

We signed Parker up for soccer lessons because he LOVES sports. He is always either kicking a soccer ball, dribbling or shooting a basketball, or throwing his football. Parker is on a soccer team called the Lil' Kickers. It's for 2 1/2 -3 1/2 year olds and teaches them social skills as well as soccer skills. He LOVES going to soccer practice every Saturday.
